NOVITÀ E NOSTRE PROPOSTE

Rispetto allo scorso anno, la situazione riguardante le mense e gli spazi di ristoro è notevolmente cambiata. Con la “fine” della pandemia, si è finalmente tornati ad una capienza degli spazi al 100% che però non risolve diversi problemi strutturali che affliggono il Politecnico (code interminabili in mensa, assenza di spazi per pranzare comodamente ecc)
Con questo post vogliamo informarvi sulle principali novità riguardo questi spazi (alcune ottenute grazie alle nostre sollecitazioni) e mostrarvi le proposte che abbiamo portato (o porteremo prossimamente) negli Organi competenti:
BORSELLINO APERTA ALLЗ ESTERNЗ:
finalmente, dopo innumerevoli richieste, la Borsellino è tornata accessibile allз esternз anche a CENA e nel WEEKEND. Giovedì 20/10, inoltre, è stata inaugurata una nuova scala in Via Vochieri (sulla sinistra della residenza uscendo dalle aule R) per accedere direttamente alla mensa senza passare per il cortile della omonima residenza
MICROONDE A MIRAFIORI:
dopo costanti scambi di mail ed incontri con i dirigenti, siamo riusciti a rimettere in funzione il microonde a Mirafiori. Finalmente sarà possibile riscaldare comodamente i propri pasti senza dover necessariamente ricorrere a pasti offerti dal bar
ESTENSIONE ORARI BORSELLINO:
è noto che la mensa Borsellino abbia orari più restrittivi rispetto a quelli di Castelfidardo. Per incrementare i servizi offerti allз studenti (e sperabilmente ridurre la coda a mensa), porteremo, nella prossima seduta dell’Assemblea Regionale, una mozione per richiedere l’apertura della Borsellino alle 11:30 e la chiusura alle 15:00 in modo da dare a tuttз il tempo di recarsi e mangiare anche lì!
FILA ASPORTO CASTELFIDARDO:
per facilitare lo scorrimento della coda a mensa, nonché facilitare l’accesso al servizio, lз nostrз rappresentanti hanno proposto, al responsabile del servizio ristorazione di EDISU, l’apertura del secondo ingresso della mensa Castelfidardo e la creazione di una fila ad hoc per chi usufruisce dell’asporto
AULA STUDIO CASTELFIDARDO:
è noto che ci sia una grave mancanza di spazi al Politecnico, dunque perché non sfruttare quelli inutilizzati? La sala della mensa Castelfidardo, se usata come aula studio negli orari di chiusura della mensa, offrirebbe centinaia di posti di studio aggiuntivi che risulterebbero cruciali per la popolazione studentesca. Si potrebbe inoltre tenere la sala studio aperta fino alle 24 dato che fa parte dello stesso edificio della “Ex-EDISU” e non bisognerebbe aggiungere guardie per la sorveglianza! Proprio per questi motivi, nella prossima Assemblea Regionale, presenteremo una mozione per richiedere l’apertura di questi spazi alla comunità studentesca

Since the last year, the public spaces situation is changed drastically. With the end of the pandemic restrictions, we finally returned to full capacity, which wasn’t enough to deal with several structural problems of the Politecnico (endless queues, lack of cafeterias or catering spaces to eat etc)
With this post we want to inform you about the paramount news regarding these spaces (some obtained under our request) and tell you about the propositions we brought (or will bring) in the competent Bodies.
BORSELLINO OPEN TO EVERYONE:
finally, after years of requests, the Borsellino Canteen is accessible to every student, during DINNER and the WEEKEND also. Since Thursday 20/10 an additional external staircase has been opened in via Vochieri (on the left of the residence entrance, right outside the R complex) to directly access the canteen.
MICROWAVES AT MIRAFIORI:
after a long and strenuous chain of emails and meetings, we were able to put up again the microwaves at Mirafiori. Finally it will be possible to heat up your meals without necessarily having to spend money in the bar.
BORSELLINO TIMETABLE EXTENSION:
is known that the Borsellino canteen is open for less daily hours, if compared to the Castelfidardo. To better the offered services (and to reduce the queues in the canteens) we will bring, in the next session of the Regional Assembly a motion to request the extension of the Borsellino opening hours from the 11:30 to the 15:00, giving us the time to go and eat also there, after the lessons.
TAKE-AWAY QUEUE AT CASTELFIDARDO:
to make the queue move faster, and eas the access to the service, our representatives have provided to the manager of EDISU catering services, the opening of the second entrance of the Castelfidardo canteen and the creation of an ad hoc queue for the take away service.
STUDY ROOM CASTELFIDARDO
since there is lack of spaces here at Poltio, why don’t we use the unused ones available? The Castelfidardo canteen could be used as a study room when the canteen is closed! That would allow for hundreds of new study spaces which would have a crucial impact on students’ lives. Moreover, the study room could remain open up to midnight, given the fact that it belongs to the same building of the “Ex-EDISU” study room and therefore there would not be the need for extra surveilance! For these reasons, in the next session of the Regional Assembly, we’ll present a motion to ask for the opening of these spaces to the academic community.
