Nella scorsa seduta di Senato Accademico abbiamo presentato una mozione chiedendo il ripristino delle lezioni registrate negli anni accademici passati.
Quello che abbiamo chiesto equivale ad un massiccio aumento del materiale didattico a disposizione della comunità studentesca, che migliorerebbe, ampliando notevolmente, l’offerta formativa del nostro Ateneo.
Tra le premesse della mozione abbiamo inserito tutte le segnalazioni, le criticità e le emergenze che raccogliamo da settimane, frequentando le lezioni qui al Politecnico giorno dopo giorno. Sovraffollamento, sovrapposizioni, emergenza abitativa, prezzo dei trasporti per lз fuorisede, sono tutti fattori che alimentano la necessità di una risposta rapida, per accrescere e modernizzare il materiale didattico messo a disposizione dellз studenti. A quanto pare, queste non sono valide argomentazioni, perché “portano avanti una mentalità emergenziale, fuori posto dopo la pandemia”, o almeno così sostiene una buona parte del Senato Accademico, che però non si oppone di principio all’utilizzo di questi strumenti di didattica innovativa.
Qual è stato quindi il risultato di questa mozione?
Ha fatto partire un iter di valutazione da parte dell’Ateneo, sull’utilizzo delle videolezioni e sulle modalità che si possono pensare per la pubblicazione e la produzione di simili strumenti didattici. Un iter che dovrà, su richiesta del Rettore, essere breve.
E ora?
Il lavoro non è finito. Continueremo a vigilare, a lavorare e a lottare negli organi, per conquistare questo piccolo ma cruciale passo nell’avanzamento della didattica e dell’Università. Vi terremo aggiornatз!

VIDEO LESSONS: MOTION POSTPONED
In the last session of the Accademic Senate we presented a motion to restore all the recorded lesson from the past academic years as video lessons.
Our request represents a massive upgrade of the teaching material available to all the students that would notably improve the educational offer of our University.
As premises for this, we presented all the problems and the emergencies we have been gathering for weeks, as representatives as well as simple students attending their classes here at Politecnico day by day. Overcrowding, Overlaps, housing scarcity, are all part of why we need a quick response and action to grow and modernize the database of materials at disposal of our students. It seems that most of these arguments were not well received in the Senate, because “they express an emergency state, out of place after the pandemic”. However, most of the members didn’t oppose per se the use of video lessons or other means to innovative teaching.
Which results has this motion obtained?
Our motion has started an evaluation procedure on the use and production of video lessons. Per our request, and of the Rector, this procedure will have to be brief
What about now?
Our job is not done. We’ll keep watching, working and fighting in the governing Bodies, to conquer this tiny but crucial forward step in the upgrade of didactics and University. We’ll keep you posted!
