Some suggestions:
Log into the WiFi:
Poli's Wifi Network:
The University network (polito) is accessible using your student ID and the portal password. To connect, you need to enter:

Eduroam WiFi Network
The Eduroam WiFi network is an international WiFi service for university students and workers in the fields of research and education. The login credentials are the same as those for the University WiFi network. You can also use them at other universities or research institutions… very useful for studying with friends from Unito or other universities!
How to exchange informations (and materials) ?
For communication among us students, the Telegram app is used by practically everyone. It is an app similar to WhatsApp, which allows for the exchange of files, documents, and notes more easily. Moreover, it doesn’t have limits on group size, so even larger classes can have a chat (all first-year class groups exceed the size limit allowed by WhatsApp). On Telegram, you can join groups by typing a keyword in the search bar or by clicking on links.
Here we point you to the most useful groups:

Info Polito
We suggest you first join the @infopolito group, a free space for discussion and coordination among students, managed by our representatives. Here you can ask questions both to the representatives and to more experienced students who can help you in the spirit of mutualism and collaboration, creating a better environment at the university. Additionally, through our channel in the group, you can stay updated on all the initiatives and proposals we are working on!

Info Borsisti Edisu Piemonte
The most important services for many students at the Polytechnic, those concerning the Right to University Education, are provided through EDISU, the Regional Body for the Right to University Education in Piedmont. From the beginning, as Alter.POLIS, we have focused on the vision of a university open to everyone, regardless of economic background. For this reason, together with Studenti Indipendenti and Collettivamente, two similar representative groups active at UniTo and UPO respectively, we created InfoBorsistiEdisuPiemonte, where we address questions and share the most important updates regarding the Right to University Education.

PolitoGruppiBot
A hub for all the course groups of the Polytechnic, which links to other bots related to individual courses. It can be useful to contact it as early as your first year if you want to start chatting with students from your course, possibly from higher years. Through this and the other bots, you can find the Telegram groups ideally managed by students from your degree course, which can be full of useful materials and information.
There are many other bots for individual courses, such as @primoanno_bot, @inginf_bot, @biomedicahelperbot, and @gestionalepolito_bot.
If a group is missing, it needs to be created! To promote it (and to avoid duplicates), it is a good practice to report the link to the bot programmers, who are always available to add new groups.
How to access the main services:
Computer Labs
The computer labs are generally open-access, unless they are being used for lessons or other educational or research activities. If you have any doubts, ask the person in charge at the entrance of each lab.
Printing and Plottings
In many of the computer labs (e.g., the LAIB at the main campus), it is possible to print A4 and A3 black-and-white documents for free, as long as you bring your own paper. If you need help, ask the person in charge at the lab entrance. For color prints, plotting, and large formats, you need 'printing credits' provided by the instructors. Note: the access rules mentioned earlier still apply for lab entry.
Libraries
At Poli, there are many libraries. The two main ones are the Central Engineering Library (Main Campus) and the Central Architecture Library (Valentino). All loans are free of charge. Additionally, each department has its own library. If you need textbooks for exams or further study, check the libraries before buying them!
Additionally, the Polytechnic provides a range of electronic resources available to us students for free through subscriptions, which can be accessed at the link below:
Canteen
The canteens at Poli/EDISU are open to all students for lunch and dinner. In the cafeterias, you can have a complete hot meal at subsidized prices based on your ISEE. Read more on the dedicated page:
Bycicles
At the Polytechnic, there are two types of bike parking: regular bike racks located in the inner courtyard and in the Cittadella Politecnica, and controlled access bike parking. To access the 'anti-theft' cages for bikes, simply bring your SmartCard close to the entrance reader. In the inner courtyard near the secretary's office, there is also a station for basic bike repairs.
Sustainable Transportation
Over the years, we have managed to convince the Polytechnic to establish a discount program to encourage the student community to use sustainable mobility. In Turin, the public transport company is GTT. Right now we are working on implementing a new system, you'll find new informations here:
Rulebooks and guides
In addition to the Statute and the general regulations of the Polytechnic, there are three documents that contain a lot of useful information, which we recommend you consult as needed:
Contains all the informations about university and studying.
It can be accessed by clicking on ‘Calendar’ in the menu of the Student Guide for your degree program.
Explains the financial obbligations of each student.
Furthermore, you can count on:
The "Ticket" section
On the Teaching Portal, you can find hundreds of questions and answers; if you’re not satisfied, you can contact an administrative staff member at the office.
WARNING: The response times from the office can be very long.
The student's representatives:
Talking to us representatives is ‘doubly useful’: first, we can provide you with support on career rules, the tuition system, cafeterias, and the Right to Education (or suggest that you contact the office if what you’re looking for is a procedure to be carried out at the counter); furthermore, as part of the bodies that define regulations, we can take action if corrections or improvements are needed at the organizational level!
If I have some problem:
In general, we representatives are always available, even to advise you on where to turn or to support you if you feel you have not received fair treatment.
At the university, there are also many contacts you might need:
Questions/information about teaching, fees, and academic matters: educational office and/or student representatives.
If you think some rules/procedures are not functioning well and want to propose changes: student representatives.
Carrying out procedures on the portal/issues with procedures: general office.
Severe financial distress situation (e.g., the ISEE situation does not align with actual contribution capabilities): office.
Problems or information about Scholarships/Cafeterias/EDISU Residences: Telegram group Info Borsisti EDISU Piemonte for more information in the chapter.
Discrimination based on ethnic origin, religion, personal and political beliefs, disability status, age: Single Guarantee Committee (CUG).
Sexual and moral harassment or discriminatory behavior: Trust Advisor.
Misconduct by instructors: Student Representatives in courses and/or Student Ombudsman.
